Single point perspective is a linear drawing method that uses a single vanishing point on a horizon line to create the illusion of three-dimensional depth on a flat surface. When drawing multiple objects on the same plane (like a floor or a road), they all share these foundational elements to ensure they appear to sit in the same space.

Core Principles for the Same Plane
To keep objects realistically grounded on the same plane, follow these three rules:
Shared Horizon Line: The horizon line represents your eye level. Every object on that same “ground” will relate to this line.
Single Vanishing Point (VP): All lines that recede into the distance (orthogonal lines) must converge at the exact same point on the horizon.
Parallel Facets: In one-point perspective, the front-facing planes of your objects (Google)
