And it was a physical running game that received much of the credit following a victory over Seattle last Sunday as Tim Hightower became the first Saints player to rush for more than 100 yards in a game this season. We havent had our best performance yet, Brees asserted in discussing a Saints offense that ranks second in the NFL and averages 415 yards per game. Lafayette was limited to 189 total yards. Much of it came from the arm of Drew Reed who threw for 111 yards, but he was intercepted twice. Cheap Vans Running Shoes . That left plenty of energy for pitching books and swatting away free agency questions. Categorized by position, the players are ranked in descending order by ownership percentage in ESPN leagues.Well also include some former go-to fantasy assets who may be overvalued -- in the short or long term -- for one reason or another.ForwardsRobby Fabbri, C/LW, St. Louis Blues Ownership percentage: 41.0If you werent a fan of Fabbri before, his latest assignment -- on a dynamite line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz -- should appeal to you. For his part, the Blues leading scorer (who is also tied for second in the league) isnt complaining about the latest configuration:We have a good line, Tarasenko told the media Monday. We should spend way more time offensively. Im used to playing with those guys before and we have some success, so try to build on it and play better tomorrow. We just have to try to have fun on the ice and play for each other.Important part: We should spend way more time offensively. DFS competitors should also keep Fabbri in mind, starting with Tuesdays tilt in Nashville. The Predators have had issue with keeping the puck out of their own net of late.Evander Kane, LW, Buffalo Sabres Ownership percentage: 35.2Since the return of center Jack Eichel, Kane has three goals and two assists in six games. As long as that duo remains intact, the shot-happy sniper should be spoken for in a greater percentage of ESPN leagues. Oft-criticized from all angles, the 25-year-old is still a great talent with a ton of potential.Jiri Hudler, RW, Dallas Stars Ownership percentage: 9.4One mysterious illness and 20 missed games later, Hudler is finally back in action. Relatively weak on the right side, the Stars need the veteran winger to rise to the occasion, particularly with Ales Hemsky out long term. Look for the 32-year-old to fill a regular top-six/power-play role once his strength is up. Keep in mind that Hudler was nearly a point-per-game player with the Flames only two seasons ago.Derek Ryan, C, Carolina Hurricanes Ownership percentage: 1.8Even with the anticipated return of Jordan Staal (concussion), Ryan finds himself treading in the Hurricanes top six, shifted to the wing alongside Viktor Rask and Jeff Skinner. The 29-year-old has three goals in his most recent two games, and six points in his past half dozen. The AHL standout could serve nicely as a temporary plug-in on your own roster in the short term.Jannik Hansen, RW, Vancouver Canucks Ownership percentage: 1.4Following a lengthy stint on IR (ribs), Hansen is back in Vancouvers lineup, skating on a line with Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin. While the Canucks are struggling as a whole, the Sedin twins are producing with consistency of late.Seth Griffith, C, Florida Panthers Ownership percentage: 0.1As discussed previously, Griffith is earning the chance to strut his scoring stuff in a more prominent role under interim coach Tom Rowe. It doesnt get more exciting than subbing in for Jonathan Marchessault (lower-body injury) on a line with Aleksander Barkov and Jaromir Jagr. Thats quite a leap from his recent gig as a healthy scratch in Toronto. The 23-year-old held his own -- one assist, three shots, plus-two, 17:21 time on ice -- in his top-line debut on Saturday. Give Griffith a speculative look in deeper leagues and DFS as long as the current combo remains intact.DefensemenIvan Provorov, Philadelphia Flyers Ownership percentage: 37.8While tuned-in Flyers fans have been high on this kid for a while, a larger percentagee of fantasy folk is due to catch up. Vans Trainers Shoes Outlet. A high-caliber offensive defenseman in junior with the WHLs Brandon Wheat Kings, the 19-year-old has 14 points to date, including two goals and three assists in his past six games. Leading the Flyers in blocked shots with 58 (which is tied for 10th in the Eastern Conference), the former seventh-overall draft pick (2015) logged a new high of nearly 25 minutes (24:56) in Sundays victory over the Red Wings. And have we mentioned hes only 19?Jaccob Slavin, Carolina Hurricanes Ownership percentage: 4.5Logging heavy minutes at even strength and with the man advantage, Slavin has an assist in four of his past five contests, including two helpers with the extra skater. The 22-year-old (sadly) leads the Hurricanes D with 10 points on the season, a group that includes struggling blueliner Justin Faulk. Slavins 56 blocked shots on the season serve as added bonus for leagues that use that stat.GoaltendersJimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings Ownership percentage: 31.7Back from a groin injury, Howard appears just as dominant as he was to start 2016-17. Perfect in relief of Petr Mrazek on Friday, the veteran goalie then stopped 35 of 36 shots for Sundays win over the Flyers. That earns Howard his second-straight start, Tuesday versus Arizona. Only the Sabres have scored fewer goals than the Coyotes this season, so hes certainly worth considering for your DFS lineups Tuesday night.Antti Raanta, New York Rangers Ownership percentage: 26.5Henrik Lundqvist may never tend net for the Rangers again! Just kidding, of course. But we are digging this sizzling run (one goal allowed in three straight wins) by the Rangers backup. Ride Raanta until the wheels fall off, at which point King Henrik should rightfully reclaim dominion of New Yorks crease.Anthony Stolarz, Philadelphia Flyers Ownership percentage: 2.3By following up a solid NHL debut with an outstanding, shutout performance in his second start, the 22-year-old proves he isnt too wowed by the large stage. Give Stolarz a thought in DFS play whenever No. 1 Steve Mason gets a rest. Dynasty owners should also give the promising, young netminder a long, hard look.Lowered expectationsMax Domi, C/LW, Arizona Coyotes Ownership percentage: 73.9Following hand surgery, Domi is expected to miss approximately six weeks of action. This is where we usually suggest an less-prominent, fantasy alternative from the clubs lineup; but frankly, theres little going on with Coyotes that inspires at present.Marc-Edouard Vlasic, D, San Jose Sharks Ownership percentage: 68.5Cold since mid-November, Vlasic has just one assist in 13 contests. The historically streaky D-man will undoubtedly snap out of it, but theres little point in fantasy owners suffering along in the meanwhile. Shelve him for now.Mike Smith, G, Arizona Coyotes Ownership percentage: 24.0Illustrating just how awful the Coyotes have performed defensively, Sportsnets Dimitri Filipovic points out goalie Mike Smith deserves buckets of credit for maintaining some sense of respectability in the desert:This years Coyotes are really, really bad. Because all the other stuff is worthless.Increasingly, there is evidence that Striefs message was echoed by team leaders -- and heeded.Three victories in four games -- with the lone loss in that span coming down the wire -- have the Saints heading to San Francisco as road favorites this week. New Orleans (3-4) also has a chance to climb back to .500 and into the conversation in the NFC South Division race.Optimism stems from several areas.Quarterback Drew Brees consistently has put up elite passing numbers -- and his efficiency might improve now that New Orleans has recently discovered more of a running game.Meanwhile, two key defensive players -- cornerback Delvin Breaux and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins -- are closer to returning from injury to a unit that has exhibited signs of improvement during the past month. The Saints have slowly improved in NFL defensive rankings from 31st to 28th, with its totals of yards allowed per game significantly lower during the past four games than the first three.Rankins, the Saints first-round pick last spring, has yet to make his debut because of a broken fibula during training camp. But hes eligible to return from injured reserve as early as this Sunday -- if the Saints decide hes ready. Breaux, who has not played since also breaking his fibula in Week 1, was encouraged enough by his own work in ppractice on Wednesday to label his health at 115 percent. Kellen Winslow Jersey. feel great, man. Got a couple reps at practice just to see how everything will go, Breaux said, but stressed that when and how much he plays will be the coaching staffs call. The Saints do not appear to be taking their recent reversal of fortune for granted.Youre constantly fighting human nature in this business, said Brees, whose 2,366 yards passing ranks third overall in the NFL, and first among quarterbacks whove played fewer than eight games. You probably overreact when you lose and you underreact when you win, and we want to make sure were not that team thats up and down -- win, loss, win, loss, win, loss -- because we fall into the trap of human nature. So far, the Saints passing offense has been consistently good, with young receivers Brandin Cooks, Willie Snead and Michael Thomas all thriving. But the Saints see potential for more production from tight end Coby Fleener, a key free-agent acquisition in the offseason. Im excited about the evolution of this offense and this team. Each week I feel that we learn something new about us -- and in a good way. Thats why I get excited to step on the field just to see what steps forward we can take this week.Game notes Four players sat out practice on Wednesday: LT Terron Armstead (knee), S Kenny Vaccaro (knee), LB Dannell Ellerbe (quad) and LB James Laurinaitis (quad). The Saints have not said if any of those injuries are serious enough to sideline those players at San Francisco.---AP NFL website: http://pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL Wholesale NFL JerseysWholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys ChinaCheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys Canada Wholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '

Ferraris Sebastian Vettel says if he could make one change to F1 it would be a return to normally aspirated engines. http://www.49ersrookiestore.com/Customized/ . The German feels a lot of F1s current problems stem from the decision to switch to V6 hybrid units and feels it was the wrong direction for the sport to take.I personally think the current power unit regulations are too expensive and it would be beneficial for all the teams and the whole sport to go back to something normally aspirated, Vettel said. Pointed out to him that a proposal to cap engine costs was vetoed by Ferrari last year, Vettel stood by his comments - after a moment of awkwardness. What I said and I stick to what I said is that these power units are too expensive, he added. They have cost a lot of money already and they will keep costing a lot of money.Everything else that we have been trying to with changes to rules doesnt change the key problem and I think a lot of problems that we face now goes back to the fact it was the wrong way to go. It is easy now to raise your hand and admit that, but we are still stuck with what we have.I cant change the rules, I think it is a good thing that you dont let one driver or one person change the rules, but the way it is currently set up is probably not the best either. Vettels views were echoed by Bernie Ecclestone who says the alternative engine idea is absolutely not dead and doesnt feel F1 should be used for road car technology experiments. This [V6] engine is good, Im told, for the car manufacturers - although nobody can ever use that engine, the F1 supremo told Sky Sports F1.But if it is and they want to use it to experiment they should use it in the World Touring Car Championship. Its very difficult for Mercedes, and Ferrari for that matter I suppose, to agree to change a power unit that theyve spent a fortune developing. Faf du Plessis will find out by Sunday if he will face a charge for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct after South Africas stand-in captain was shown on camera shining the ball with what appeared to be a sweet in his mouth. ICC CEO David Richardson is expected to take a call over the incident, which took place during the recent Hobart Test. The footage emerged on Wednesday, the day after the conclusion of the match, which South Africa won by an innings and 80 runs to take the series. It was not reported by match officials within the stipulated 18 hours after the game. Instead, the ICC was alerted of the incident through media queries and is now reviewing it of its own volition. It has until Sunday, a stipulated five days after it began reviewing the footage, to make its decision. The ICC has been alerted to the footage and is currently reviewing the incident from the perspective of it being a possible breach of the ICC Code of Conduct, an ICC spokesperson told ESPNcricinfo.Although Cricket South Africa has not made an official comment on the matter, it is understood the board is confident du Plessis was acting within the laws of the game. Cricket Australia has also not commented, neither has it registered an official complaint. This is not the first time du Plessis has come under scrutiny. In 2013, five penalty runs were awarded to Pakistan, the ball changed and du Plessis fined 50% of his match fee for rubbing the ball close to the zipper of his trouser pocket during a Test in Dubai. Du Plessis pleaded guiltyy to the charge and match referee David Boon said he was satisfied that du Plessis actions were not part of a deliberate and/or prolonged attempt to unfairly manipulate the condition of the ball. http://www.49ersrookiestore.com/49ers-Will-Redmond-Jersey/. It is also not the first time South Africa have faced allegations of tampering with the ball, by either opposition or officials. In March 2014, David Warner accused AB de Villiers of scuffing up the ball with his gloves, for which Warner was fined 15% of his match fee. After the Perth Test, Josh Hazlewood said he saw South Africa throwing the ball onto the pitch in order to try and accelerate the deterioration of one side in order to generate reverse-swing. Ahead of the Hobart Test, du Plessis maintained the ball had reversed the same for both teams and said the issue had been blown out of proportion. Neither incident was taken up further.Previously, in July 2014, Vernon Philander was fined 75% of his match fee after footage of him digging into the ball with his nail was made available to Jeff Crowe, the match referee in Sri Lanka. Philander accepted his penalty without contest.South Africa were originally scheduled to play a two-day pink-ball practice match over the weekend in Melbourne. Instead, that game has been altered to a one-day match on Saturday, giving them extra time off after their series win and ahead of the final Test, which starts in Adelaide from November 24. Wholesale NFL Jerseys Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball JerseysWholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys China Cheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys CanadaWholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '
CHARLOTTE, N. Thomas Meunier Jersey .C. -- A drivers Sprint Cup career often doesnt end with the driver deciding to walk away. For many, its a colder reality, a game of musical chairs with available rides and sponsors, and at some point the music stops and some drivers are left standing without anywhere to sit.So they go looking for something else to make them happy, another car to race. For the three former Sprint Cup drivers competing in the Xfinity Series inaugural elimination-style playoff system, they look forward to the chance to win a championship. They dont seem all that bitter and at least two of them arent looking to run weekly on Sundays.Elliott Sadler spent 12 full seasons in Cup racing, from 1999 to 2010, including participating in the inaugural 2004 Chase for the Sprint Cup where he finished ninth. His JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier spent 2014 and 2015 in Cup. Richard Childress Racings Brendan Gaughan has 50 career Cup starts, the bulk coming when he ran the full 2004 season. If you get a chance to be a NASCAR champion -- and I was a fan, a kid at 7 and 8 years old going to these races -- thats all I can ask for, said the 41-year-old Sadler, who has 435 Cup starts. Im in a dream situation with a great team with amazing owners that have given me a great opportunity to pursue my dream with a NASCAR champion. Is it a consolation that its the Xfinity Series? Hell, no. This is a hard-ass sport to be a part of and a hard series to be a part of and any championship in this series or the truck series or the Cup series -- you ask any driver -- will be well-respected and well-earned.Allgaier had the most recent tenure in Cup, and he now has a home at JR Motorsports. His former Cup team, HScott Motorsports, has no confirmed sponsors nor drivers yet for 2017 and it would surprise few if it doesnt field a Cup team next year amid the struggles on the track of drivers Clint Bowyer and Michael Annett.I loved the opportunity and I have a lot of respect for [team owner] Harry Scott and the guys over there, said the 31-year-old Allgaier, who has 76 career Cup starts. But not only is it a challenge to be at the Sprint Cup level, but when things dont go when you expect it to, it makes it even worse and it snowballs and you get to the moment [of uncertainty] that theyre at.Gaughan had a chance to win the 2003 truck title, but was involved in a crash at Homestead that resulted in him dropping from first to fourth in the final race. This is by far the 41-year-old drivers best chance to win a title since then.He said he came part-time to RCR in 2012 to prove I can still race these things at this level. And I did. Now hes one of 12 drivers with a shot at the title as part of the Chase.I have done some great things in my career, said Gaughan, who has two wins in the Xfinity Series and eight in the trucks. Did it end up the way I ever dreamed? No. We all think of Jimmie Johnson and being a six-time champion. But Ive done a lot of things that I set out to accomplish. I still have things left. I would love to get it here in the Xfinity Series.Sadler finished second in the Xfinity standings in 2011 and 2012 and third in 2014. He was sixth last year but was rejuvenated this year with two wins and 23 top-10s in 26 races. We made the move [to Xfinity] years ago, we have been competitive ever since and been a part of the championship discussion pretty much every year, Sadler said. Weve got everything we could ever ask for.I look at those last two years, and I say, OK, I learned a lot, I gained a lot of respect for a lot of people. But I dont miss it.What Allgaier looks forward to is to win a championship in a series where current Chase drivers Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, and Martin Truex Jr. as well as several other notable racers have won championships.Look at Kyle Busch when he started his own Xfinity Series team [in 2012], he didnt win a race [as a driver], Allgaier said. He now wins the majority of the races that he runs [for Joe Gibbs Racing]. This series is as tough as any series as Ive ever been a part of.If you win a championship here, it still says, NASCAR Champion. It doesnt matter that its an Xfinity Series. ... Following a lopsided 5-2 loss against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night, Paul MacLean told reporters that "theres a lack of focus, theres a lack of leadership and theres a lack of preparation" with his struggling team. MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez also will attend the session, which was announced Monday. The league has discussed placing its next two expansion teams in Miami and Atlanta. Alex Naddour stops himself in mid-thought, his brain tapping the brakes so he can stress that hes aware his spot on the 2016 U.S. mens Olympic gymnastics team is not simply the result of the force of his considerable will.Im the luckiest guy I know, Naddour said.Let him count the ways.Theres his infant daughter, Lilah, whose arrival earlier this year gave the 25-year-old a perspective while sanding away the rough edges to his intense personality.Theres his wife, two-time world champion Hollie Vise, who knows a thing or two about the sacrifices it takes to compete at the highest level in an uncompromising sport.Theres his father, Mike, who came out of retirement to help his son become more than the one American whose grace makes pommel horse look like a good time, something to be enjoyed instead of endured.Maybe thats why the tears came so freely after Naddour heard his name called as part of the five-man group that will head to Brazil next month with the hopes of getting the U.S. back on the podium after flaming out in the finals in London four years ago. Maybe thats why he pounded his right hand over his heart at the end of his pommel horse routine on the final night of Olympic Trials. It took a lot of people to get to this point, he said.An alternate in 2012, Naddour never lacked belief he would make it even as he saw other teammates bask in the kind of attention that seemed to elude him. There were banners outside national championships, and Im not on them, he said. There were promos, I wasnt in them. There was the embarrassment of the 2013 world championships, when he was held out of the all-around competition despite finishing second behind Sam Mikulak at nationals.Nearly three years later, the snub still stings. Yet it provided more fuel to an internal fire that has long led Naddour to go his own way. He left the powerhouse program at Oklahoma in fall 2011 after clashing with coach Mark Williams over workload. Naddour wanted to focus all his attention on getting to the 2012 Olympics, something he doesnt believe he could have done if he stayed with the Sooners. Concerned over the potential workload of competing in the all-around during a collegiate season, Naddour headed back home to Arizona to train with his father. While he didnt make it to the floor in London -- watching from the stands as the Americans slipped from the top of the leaderboard in qualifying to fifth in team finals -- Naddour has no regrets, pointing out hes nearing a degree in business management at Arizona State. And because he didnt have to worry about retaining his amateur status following those games, Naddour was able to turn the paychecks he received for participating in the post-Olympic tour into a down payment on a house. Laurent Ciman Jersey. I know (leaving) was the right choice, said Naddour, who dabbles in real estate to help pay the bills. So was the decision to press forward with a family. He found a kindred spirit in Vise, who won a pair of gold medals at the 2003 world championships. They were married last May and she pointed to a narrow window in which they could get a jumpstart on parenthood before training for Rio overtook Naddours life.Lilahs arrival in late winter would have signaled an abrupt lifestyle change in most marriages. Not for the Naddours, who upgraded to a one-story ranch to make it easier for Lilah (and they hope, one day, the rest of their kids) to get around. Hollie gave give Alex the master bedroom so he could get some regular sleep while mother and daughter moved to the other side of the house.Maybe some other wives would get frustrated but she gets my training, she knows how bad I want it, Naddour said. She takes care of Lilah in the morning so I can sleep and nighttime when I can sleep. Without her being in the sport and knowing what it takes, that would be difficult.A typical day for Naddour includes training at the gym from 11:30-4. Hollie then arrives at the gym -- where she runs the womens program -- and leaves Lilah with one of the grandparents before Naddour takes over from 4-8. Then its dinner and a little quiet time. When Hollie and Lilah head off to bed, Naddour heads outside for cardio.Ive got some payback to do as soon as all this is over, Naddour said. Im on daddy duty probably indefinitely once my career is over.Theres no telling when that day will come. Naddour built his reputation as one of the few Americans who excel on pommel horse -- a 45-second battle between gravity and the lactic acid in your arms and legs that few Americans win. Its a pretty quick way to get the attention of U.S. national team officials, yet after just missing out on London, Naddour realized he needed to become a more complete gymnast. When we didnt get to compete (in London) it was like: `Why? What happened? he said. Then we looked at the scores and while we contribute on pommels, it wasnt enough. With a five-man team, you need other events. Everyone knows it, I didnt at the time. Now he does. While Naddour won pommel horse easily during trials, he was also third on rings, sixth on floor exercise and eighth on vault, performances that made him a lock for Rio, while other teammates were relegated to alternate. Its a role he respects, but one hes happy not to fulfill this time around. Wholesale NFL Jerseys Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys China Cheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys Canada Wholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '

BOSTON -- Doctors who decide whether an NFL player is healthy enough to go into the game shouldnt be paid by the teams that have a stake in winning and losing -- an undeniable conflict of interest. Willie Snead Jersey .Thats what a report released on Thursday by Harvard University experts in medicine, law and ethics says. The study by the NFL Players Association-funded Football Players Health Study also recommends a short-term injured reserve for athletes recovering from a concussion, much like the system that baseball adopted five years ago.The 500-page report includes 76 recommendations addressed to 20 NFL stakeholders -- everyone from players and teams to equipment manufacturers and government regulators. The biggest message: Player safety will never be the top priority as long as those involved have competing calls on their loyalty. So long as the club doctor is chosen, paid and reviewed by the club to both care for players and advise the club, the doctor will have, at a minimum, tacit pressures or subconscious desires to please the club by doing what is in the clubs best interests, the report said. This is not a moral judgment about them as competent professionals or devoted individuals, but rather a simple fact of the current organizational structure of their position in which they simultaneously perform at least two roles that are not necessarily compatible. Its a conclusion that was similar to that reached in an Associated Press survey of 100 players across the league last season. Asked if they thought the leagues clubs, coaches and team doctors have the athletes best interests at heart when it comes to health and safety, only 47 said yes.To resolve the conflict of interest, the report recommends that the league and the union contribute to a fund used to pay doctors assigned to teams. It should be common sense to avoid a conflict of interest between Teams and Doctors, former San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Anthony Davis, who retired -- for the second time -- at the age of 26 after repeated concussions, said on Twitter on Thursday.Although the study called the arrangement an undeniable conflict of interest, the league did in fact deny it.In a 33-page response , the NFL said it was disappointed that the report appeared to start with the premise that the health care system in the NFL suffers from an `inherent conflict of interest. The report ultimately promotes the untenable and impractical recommendation that NFL players receive care from `two distinct groups of medical professionals, the league wrote, saying that would have unintended but extremely detrimental effects on NFL players care. The NFL said the report fails to note any examples where a doctor put a teams interest ahead of the players, or establish any link between a doctors job security and player or team performance. The league said the collective bargaining agreement establishes that team doctors responsibility is to the player only, and that they are bound by the AMA and other professional codes of ethics.Players also have the right to seek a second opinion from a doctor of their own choosing, the league said.Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourty said he has hasnt had a problem with the current system, but he liked the reports suggestions. As an eight-year veteran, he said, he is comfortable taking charge of his medical care, but a rookie might be intimidated. As players and grown men, as anyone (who) goes to a doctor, a doctor reports directly to you, he said. And I dont think it should be any different within a team. The NFL has already added layers of independent physicians to its concussion protocol, including unaffiliated athletic trainers and neurotrauma consultants on game day whose role is to spot players with possible concussions and, if necessary, stop play. The league says the role of these consultants is to support the team medical staffs in the diagnosis of in-game concussions.I dont really know how it works right now. I assume that third-party guy has enough pull to where if he thinks somebody is bad, hes out, said Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman David DeCastro, who went through the process against Dallas last week after he was slow to get up following a hit to the neck. After talking to the team doctor and the independent consultant, he was cleared to return and only missed one play.Obviously theres a conflict of interest (concern) with the team, and obviously getting rid of that is one thing. But for the most part I thought it was pretty fair and well done, DeCastro said. It was really good the way it kind of worked out.---AP Pro Football Writer Teresa M. In Overwatchs brief history, one team has been the clear dominant player in the competitive scene. Rafinha Jersey . For anyone familiar with high-level play in Blizzards shiny new first-person shooter, the name of Team EnVyUs earned a reputation for near-invincibility, racking up win after win as spring turned to summer. EnVyUss 57-match winning streak made winning look easy, but what fun is a streak if nobody ever breaks it? And thats just what happened last week.Entering their semifinal match at ESLs Overwatch Atlantic Showdown, EnVyUs was slated the favorite, as usual. Initially forming during Overwatchs closed beta, a group of friends created a team then known as IDDQD, named after a cheat code from the original Doom (sadly, one Im old enough to remember first-hand). Competing in weekly cups against more established esports organizations, IDDQD were the kings of the Overwatch beta and most of that team eventually became part of the new EnVy Overwatch team after an April acquisition. And after June, they never stopped winning.Enter Team Rogue. The Atlantic Showdowns $100,000 pot is the largest yet for an Overwatch tournament, though soon-to-be eclipsed by the Overwatch Opens $300,000 prize pool. With well-established teams at the top and a fairly static map pool in competition, Rogue adopted a strategy of training hard on less popular maps in order to leverage their natural aggressive style and create imbalanced matchups by throwing the competition a curve. And what a curve it was.The biggest curve, I believe that we couldve done and did was throwing the unusual maps towards them, said Kevyn TviQ Lindstr?m to ESPN.com. With their limited practice time leading up to the event, we felt like Assault would be our best shot towards winning as we felt pretty comfortable on it. The payloads in general were really close and couldve gone either way, but we felt like we had the upper hand when we went into the Assault maps. And thats just what happened last week. EnVyUs was just as dangerous as always, but Rogue took their aggressive playstyle right at EnVyUs, winning the first game in the little-played Anubis map, thanks in a large part to the Reinhardt play of Jonathan Reinforce Larsson. Jokingly called Rhine-force, to his occasional chagrin, Reinforces typical take-no-prisoners style of play along with TviQs unconventional choice of using Junkrat for the entire round, gave them the big defensive stand needed to take Anubis over EnVyUss more standard lineup. In the end, the match against EnVyUs came down to a showdown in Lijiang, the rubber match taken by Rogue in large part due to the usual heroics from TviQ and and Dylan aKm Bignet. In a game in which the casters attention tend to focus on the offense players, there were other unsung heroes here: Benjamin uNKOE Chevasson and Jean-Louis KnOxXx Boyer both playing aggressively in their support roles, getting enough kills on their own, which disrupted EnVyUs enough to prevent their offensive players, Ronnie Talespin DuPree and Timo Taimou Kettunen from getting much ground to work with. Not to mention the Zarya work of Micha?l winz Bignet, running up kill streaks multiple times while clinging onto single-digit health. With TviQ a member of the original IDDQD team, I asked what it meant to him to be part of the team that ended EnVyUss streak and he told me that he cant deny that it meant quite a bit for [him] to be part of the team ending their streak, especially on LAN.Beating EnVyUs didnt end the weekend for Rogue as they still had to come back after that win to play the final against REUNITED, ranked second in the world at that time by Gosugamers Elo-derived method. After a rough game two for Rogue, when REUNITED took advantage of Rogues aggressiveness and took the point in Dorado, Rogue won two to win the match 3-1, closing it out with an overwhelming final push on Kings Road to take home the $40,000 first-place prize.Whats next for Team Rogue? After a tough loss to FaZe in the winners bracket of the Overwatch Open prelims on Friday that saw them lose on Anubis, one of their bread-and-butter maps, Rogue came back to easily defeat Tornado RoX and punch their ticket to Atlanta. As TviQ told me of course we have to remake the epic matchup we had at Atlantic against EnVyUs, which also qualified for their Regional Finals. However, to get to EnVyUs, theyll first have to beat the rest of the EU qualifiers. And anyone who has ever played king of the hill knows that once youve shoved off your friends and become the new king, youve got a big target on your back. Christian Fruchtl Jersey . Each week of the NFL campaign we will sift through the deeper options at each position with an eye on identifying streaming fantasy commodities with valuable matchups to consider. Carson Tinker Jersey .Do you need replacement options for this first heavy bye week in fantasy football competition? We have some choice names to consider for those seeking widely available options at each position.QuarterbackBrian Hoyer, Chicago BearsIf you are forced to look deep into the waiver wire for a quarterback, you could do much worse than taking a flier on Brian Hoyer. Since replacing an injured Jay Cutler as the Chicago Bears starting quarterback, Hoyer has posted back-to-back games of over 300 yards passing and passed for two touchdowns in both games. His Bears draw the Indianapolis Colts, who have permitted the sixth-highest Total QBR allowed so far this early season. Such a poor performance is driven by the Colts propensity to surrender high totals of passing yardage (277 per game) and lack of forced turnovers (one interception). Look for Hoyer to continue his streak of impressive performances. --K.D.Paxton Lynch, Denver BroncosWhile our projection for Lynch this week is reasonably conservative for his first career start, there are some impressive upside ingredients we might want to consider when streaming in deeper fantasy formats. For starters, the matchup metrics are inviting, as the Falcons have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and have pressured opposing passers on just 19.8 percent of dropbacks, fifth lowest in the NFL. Its also encouraging to consider Lynch wasnt limited to a conservative checkdown agenda in Week 4, as his average target traveled 12.46 yards in the air on his 24 attempts in Tampa last Sunday -- the highest rate of any quarterback in the league for the week. With two top wideout weapons and an offensive line that saw him pressured on just 16 percent of his dropbacks last week, Lynch is an intriguing option in his first start. --J.M.Running backWendell Smallwood, Philadelphia EaglesThough Ryan Mathews will likely return to the Eagles backfield on Sunday, Smallwoods performance in Week 3 was strong enough to earn him some touches in the Eagles upcoming game against the Detroit Lions. While Mathews was productive from a fantasy standpoint during the first two weeks, that production was driven by scoring touchdowns, not by gaining large amounts of yardage. In fact, Mathews didnt achieve a yards per carry of at least 4 yards in any of his three starts. Smallwood, however, hit that metric by gaining 79 yards on 17 carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers. As the Lions allow the third highest yards per carry in the league, dont be surprised to see Smallwood get the bulk of the work if Mathews doesnt establish himself early in the rushing attack. --K.D.James White, New England PatriotsWith the Patriots scaled-down passing game accommodating rookie Jacoby Brissett over the past two weeks and the teams clear agenda to feed early-down workhorse LeGarrette Blount to start the season, White has been somewhat of an afterthought. Even with this unfavorable setup, White is on pace for 52 receptions and should see an uptick in usage with Tom Brady returning to the field. Without much fanfare White ranked second in the NFL last season among backs in fantasy points per route run in PPR leagues with a rich rate of 0.538 fantasy points per route. Only the Bucs Charles Sims enjoyed a higher efficiency rate. With the potential for more snap and route exposure on an offense that should increase the overall passing volume, White is a widely available flex option to consider for those facing injuries and bye issues this week. --J.M.Wide receiverChris Hogan, New England PatriotsAs Jim and I compared notes, I completely forgot Robert Woods of the Buffalo Bills because I added him immediately last week in most of my leagues after the IR move of Sammy Watkins was announced. As such, I wholeheartedly endorse his recommendation. If you need to go even deeper into the waiver wire, look at Hogan. With Brady returning to the New England Patriots, too many people are predicting the return to form for Rob Gronkowski. I dont expect that to happen. Instead, look for the Patriots to feature their smaller receivers -- Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and Hogan. There probably isnt a defensive backfield in the league that can defend that speed and if there is, it certainly doesnt belong to the Cleveland Browns. Expect for Brady to throw for 350 or more yards, which gives Hogan a decent chance at being useful this week. --K.D.Robert Woods, Buffalo BillsThis play is far more about opportunity than talent or playmaking pedigree, as Woods has claimed a rich 29 percent target share of the Bills passing offense over the past two games with Watkins sidelined. With a target on 28.3 percent of his routes and a catch on 20.3 percent of his routes over the past two games, Woods is clearly the top read for Tyrod Taylor at this point. The Rams have allowed 211.75 yards per game to receiving corps this season, fourth most in football, suggesting there room for Woods to operate given his sizable market share of Buffalos passing offense. --J.M.Tight endCharles Clay, Buffalo BillsAlong with more frequent usage for Woods, it appears that Clay will find more targets coming his way. On Sunday, against the Patriots, Clay was targeted seven times and caught five of those for 47 yards. This week, his Buffalo Bills draw the Los Angeles Rams. Through four games, the Rams appear to be proficient in stopping opposing tight ends; however a closer look shows that theyve faced only one above-average tight end (Jimmy Graham in Week 2). Expect Clay to be targeted at least seven times, which puts his floor around five catches for 50 yards, which is as good as youll get off the deep end of the wire. --K.D.Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay BuccaneersSince the release of Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Brate has been Jameis Winstons go-to possession valve, ranking second on the team in target share with 19.8 percent of the teams targets over the past two weeks while leading the team with two touchdowns over the span. This usage hasnt been particularly conservative, either, as Brates average target has travelled more than 11 yards downfield, suggesting big-play potential is present for this Harvard product. The Panthers defense has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season, helping support Brates candidacy as a fine streaming option. --J.M.D/STPittsburgh SteelersMy recommendation of the Steelers isnt based on the strength of their defense, even if they pretty much dominated the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Rather it is completely based on how poorly Ryan Fitzpatrick has played the past two weeks. Granted, Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets faced two teams that were generally continued strong defenses (Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks), but some of those interceptions were caused by the changes in the Jets offense driven by injuries. Those injuries still exist, which means the Steelers should come away with at least two takeaways. --K.D.Tennessee TitansAs is almost always the case when it comes to identifying a streaming defensive option, we focus on finding choice matchups to target. The Dolphins simply havent been able to protect Ryan Tannehill this season, as he has been sacked 11 times and pressured on 29.8 percent of his dropbacks, the fourth-highest rate in the league. Tannehill was sacked five times in Cincinnati in Week 4 via a standard pass rush -- as in four or fewer pass-rushers. This marked the fourth time this season that a team has allowed at least five sacks against standard pressure, with the Dolphins having accounted for two of those games. The Titans like to blitz, as they rank sixth in the league in the rate of blitzes per dropback, so Tannehill could be under siege again with increased pressure this Sunday. --J.M.Individual defensive playersLinebackerZach Brown, Buffalo BillsA rising asset to target given he has tallied an astounding 44 tackles over the past three weeks, Brown leads all inside linebackers with a 20 percent run-stop rate on Pro Football Focus (the rate of stops made on running plays hes on the field for). ... If Brown is owned in your league, were guessing Oaklands Cory James is available. James just recently earned the green dot as the play-calling middleman for the Raiders front seven and he produced 15 tackles in Week 4. Available in over 99 percent of ESPN leagues, James is a name to target even in shallower IDP formats. --J.M.Defensive backJohnathan Cyprien, Jacksonville JaguarsFifth in tackles per game among defensive backs and on the field for over 95 percent of Jacksonvilles defensive snaps, Cyprien is enjoying a productive bounce-back season so far. Questions over his job security this offseason caused Cyprien to slip, but hes a fine DB1 given his current usage metrics. ... Chip Kellys NFL defenses have famously spent a ton of time on the field, as time of possession hasnt proved very important in his snap-happy agenda. This can help for IDP purposes, for example safety Eric Reid -- owned in just 2.8 percent of ESPN leagues as of press time -- is first among safeties in run snaps within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage. Which is to say, he has been busy in the box and is playing lots of snaps against the run, ingredients that could fuel a rewarding tackle rate for those playing in deeper leagues. --J.M.Defensive lineTrent Murphy, Washington RedskinsWe have to recognize Murphys awesome stretch of production over the past three games, as he has tallied four sacks and at least one sack in each outing. Murphy is likely a boom-or-bust option, but thats somewhat inherent when chasing sack production. ... The Denver Broncos Derek Wolfe is among the better defensive end additions to consider, as his healthy tackle rate and ability to pressure the pocket creates a uniquely high floor for an often fickle position. -- J.M. Jermey Parnell Jersey . -- Matt Kuchar and Harris English ran away with the Franklin Templeton Shootout, shooting a 14-under 58 on Sunday in the final-round scramble to break the tournament course record. Barry Church Jersey . ARCALIS, Andorra -- The Tour de France did more than challenge the peloton with its punishing menu of Pyreneans climbs on Sunday. Blue Air Jordan 6 Retro . The extreme conditions that suddenly switched from searing heat and humidity to rain and hail and a huge drop in temperature showcased what resilience is required to race in the world biggest and hardest bike race.Whether British race leader and defending champion Chris Froome (Sky) wins a third Tour title or not, the 184.5-kilometer ninth stage from Vielha Val DAran in Spain to Andorra Arcalis will be remembered for a long time -- especially for how the riders up front in separate battles for the stage win and overall classification still fought so fiercely despite the harsh conditions.Froome, who defended the yellow leaders jersey he took on Saturday with his Stage 8 win to Bagnères-de-Luchon, summed up what the experience he and his rivals experienced as the conditions suddenly shifted as they rode up the last of five mountains to the finish. That was a tough stage and the weather made it even tougher, Froome said after. One second there, we were pouring water over our heads and ice socks down the back, and then the next minute we literally had ice falling from the sky with the hail stones and the temperatures dropped right down to 10 degrees. So it was from one extreme to another. The day was still a success for Froome, with his overall lead again reflecting his teams brilliant work to control the stage before the finale, as much as his ability to account for a number of attacks on the last climb to Arcalis when the conditions were at their worst. The stage was won by Dutchman Tom Dumoulin (Giant-Alpacin) with a daring solo attack that saw him cross the finish line in virtual darkness 38 seconds clear of Portugals Rui Costa (Lampre-Merida) and Polands Rafael Majka (Tinkoff), who finished at the same time as Costa, then a string of other riders who were remnants from an earlier 20-rider breakaway.Froome was 11th at 6:35 and finished with Briton Adam Yates (Orica-BikeExchange) in 10th and Colombian Nairo Quintana (Movistar) in 12th at the same time. Then, two seconds back, were three more riders who had been with Froome, Yates and Quintana up until the last 50 metres of the stage: Australian Richie Porte (BMC) in13th, Irelands Dan Martin (Etixx-QuickStep) in 14th, and Spaniard Jesus Herrada (Movistar). As expected, the Queen Stage of the three in the Pyrenees impacted overall places.Froome still leads overall by 16 seconds on second-place Yates, while Martin has moved up from fourth overall to third at 19 seconds, Quintana from sixth to fourth at 23 seconds and Frenchman Romain Bardet (Ag2r-La Mondiale) from ninth to sixth at 44 seconds after a day that saw him finish 17th at 6:56 but benefit from time losses by several higher-placed riders. The worst to fare was Alberto Contador (Tinkoff), the 2007 and 2009 Tour champion who abandoned with 100 kilometers to go despite showing signs that he might have recovered from his injuries in crashes on stages one and two by getting into an early break.Australian Richie Porte (BMC), who began the stage in 18th place overall at 2:08, is now 14th overall; however, he was at 2:10 after the stage in which he and Martin were the principal attackers in the yellow jersey group on the final climb. But left to lament were Spaniard Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), who finished 23rd at 7:17 after getting in to a break with Valverde and fell from fifth overall at 19 seconds to 10th at 1:01; Italian Fabio Aru (Astana), who was 27th at 7:35 and dropped from seventh at 23 seconds to 13th at 1:23, and American Tejay van Garderen (BMC), who was 21st on the stage at the same time as Valverde, fell from eighth overall at 23 seconds to 11th and also at 1:01.It was long and super-hot and then it got super-cold at the finish, Van Garderen said. It was just a hard day off the back of a hard day, so I think Richie [Porte] and I did pretty well. Richie was obviously a lot better than me, but we just look forward. Its been nine hard days of racing, so fatigue definitely starts going into play, but its still the first week. The first real mountain day of the Tour I always tend to struggle [in] more than the other ones. So I think it can only get better from here. Any one of the stages could be an opportunity to gain back time, the mountains, the time trials, so Ill just take it as it comes.Froome had in fact hoped to gain time on the final climb Sunday, but when the rally of attacks came from the likes of Porte, Martin and Yates, he found himself needing to reel them in and be satisfied to just finish with his rivals and preserve the lead he has. However, he expected an attack from Quintana, his runner-up in 2013 and last year, and said he was surprised that the Colombian failed to react, other than follow him.I was waiting for his attack all the way to the last kilometre, he said. In the last kilometre I thought, He hasnt attacked, that he was saving it for one big move. Id like to think he was on his limit. It was a tough day. He stuck to my wheel like glue by the look of it.Froome will by no means leave the Pyrenees feeling a third Tour win is a fait accompli. Like all in the peloton, he will welcome the first rest day of the Tour on Monday. However, awaiting is Thursdays Stage 12 finish at the summit of Mont Ventoux, which is followed by the 37.5km Stage 13 time trial the next day, and some brutal days in the Alps. Before the Tours start, Froome rated this Tour campaign as his hardest. He reiterated that on Sunday, saying: I feel this will be the biggest battle of my career. I figure that is what it is turning out to be. By no means did I expect it would be easy and I would ride away from everyone. The level is higher. I am going to have to fight for every second.Froome is expecting he will also need his team to continue riding as it did on Sunday. It was a great day for us, happy to still be in yellow after such a tough two days like that. My teammates did such a good job ... They just took control of the race, even when we were under a lot of pressure at the start with Valverde and Contador going in that break, he added. We waited for our guys to come back after the first climb and then we went after them. The guys have ridden so, so well. RIO DE JANEIRO -- Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti acknowledged Saturday that the results of Novembers U. Cheap Nike Epic React Flyknit Rose .S. presidential election could weigh heavily on his citys chances of hosting the 2024 Olympics, saying that a victory by Donald Trump could turn off IOC voters. In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, Garcetti also said Los Angeles could offer the last best hope for the United States to host the Summer Olympics again before the American people begin tuning out from the games.Garcetti, a 45-year-old Democrat and supporter of Hillary Clinton, is in Brazil to observe the Rio de Janeiro Games and pitch his citys bid to members of the International Olympic Committee. One of the main topics of conversation with IOC delegates has been the U.S. election -- and the prospects of a Trump presidency.I think for some of the IOC members they would say, `Wait a second, can we go to a country like that, where weve heard things that we take offense to? Garcetti said. But I think that gives us even more urgency globally, where we can say, `This is something that is a different strength maybe than the things that youve heard or the things you believe. I think we continue no matter what the outcome of the election is.A new U.S. president will be in office when the IOC selects the 2024 host city in September 2017. Los Angeles, which hosted the Olympics in 1932 and 1984, is competing with Paris, Rome and Budapest, Hungary.Everything that were going through right now in the United States politically, I dont want us to be a country that turns into itself, said Garcetti, who spoke at the Democratic convention in Philadelphia last month. I think we have to look outward to the world. The IOCs 98 members come from all over the world, and Trumps comments on Mexicans, Muslims and other issues wont encourage them to vote for a U.S. city. They wonder, `Is America going to take this strange turn? Garcetti said. Were there to be an election result that is less international, more inward focused, maybe theres even greater urgency to a bid like this. But even if that doesnt happen, even the threat of that, the talk of that, the idea that we exclude people based on who they are at our borders, gives us urgency to having things like the Olympics underscore who we are and what were about.Los Angeles bid chairman Casey Wasserman said the city will continue to push the bid on its own technical merits.I dont think you can judge a country by who runs for president, he said. I think you should judge a country on who is the president and their beliefs and their policies. And clearly thats something the members will take into account. But thats something I cant control.Los Angeles is seeking to bring the Summer Olympics back to the U.S. for the first time since Atlanta hosted the 1996 Games. The bid follows failed attempts by New York and Chicago for the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, respectively.I dont know if this is the last best hope, but I do think that after a few bids, after a while, there will be real feeling of people tuning out in America, a new generation that isnt connected with the legacy sports, said Garcetti, who attended Rios opening ceremony on Friday night, 32 years after going to the close of the 84 Games as a 13-year-old.Recent American bids have suffered from anti-U.S. sentiment among some members in the European-dominated IOC, and Garcetti said he is working to change that. There may be a general anti-Americanism but once you create a relationship with somebody, it becomes a relationship with Eric and that person, he said. As we get to know each other over time, they realize you cant slap a title, just like `American and a caricature of what that means on anybody.I want to listen, Garcetti said. I dont want to just come in and say, `Were the Americans, we get the most medals, we bring in the sponsorships. That turns people off.He acknowledged there could be a backlash among some IOC members to what they consider U.S. meddling in global sports affairs, including the Justice Department investigation of world soccer body FIFA and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agencys call for a total ban on Russias Olympic team over state-sponsored doping.Ive been very careful to say, `Look, what prosecutors or anti-doping officials do, at least in our country, is completely separate from what a mayor or a city government is about. Were not involved at all.On other issues, Garcetti:- encouraged Rome to remain in the 2024 race despite current opposition from new mayor Virginia Raggi, who says the city has bigger priorities at the moment. Garcetti said he has been in touch with Raggis office to urge Rome to stay in.You can fix your problems first, but that doesnt mean you have to exclude great opportunities like the Olympics, he said.- embraced the five new sports approved by the IOC for the 2020 Tokyo Games -- baseball/softball, surfing, skateboarding, karate and sport climbing. While they have been added for Tokyo only, Garcetti said he would hope they could also be included in Los Angeles.Skateboarding and surfing, those are synonymous with LA, he said. If were lucky enough to win, I would absolutely see us continuing those sports.- confirmed that the new NFL stadium being built for the Los Angeles Rams would be used for the Olympics if the city wins the bid. The Coliseum would host the track and field competition.Weve not yet defined how well use the stadium but were very excited to use the stadium, Garcetti said. HOUSTON -- Star sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen is expected to get most of the attention when No. Joao Cancelo Jersey . 16 UCLA opens its season Saturday at noisy Kyle Field against Texas A&M.Aggies QB Trevor Knight will be enjoying the spotlight, too.Knight will make his debut in his first start since Dec. 29, 2014. He joined the Aggies as a graduate transfer in January after spending most of 2015 on the bench at Oklahoma after losing the job he held for most of 2014 to Baker Mayfield. He was certainly welcome in College Station since the Aggies were left scrambling for a starter after the abrupt transfers of both Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen in December.Knight impressed coach Kevin Sumlin quickly and was named the teams quarterback during spring drills. And it wasnt just his work on the field that wowed Sumlin. The rapport Knight built with his teammates was equally important.Thats a special skill set for guys to come in and do that, Sumlin said. Created friendships in a short period of time with guys in his room. If theres one thing you never really know in recruiting process is how a guy will gel with everyone else. You can help that but really dont know how it will happen. That really helped his growth and helped teams growth and offenses growth.Sumlin isnt worried about the pressure bothering Knight. He played in several big games for the Sooners in 2014 when he started 10 games and threw for 2,300 yards and 15 touchdowns.Knight should be helped by a solid group of receivers led by speedy sophomore Christian Kirk, who had 80 receptions for 1,009 yards a year ago. The Aggies also have Josh Reynolds. He led the Southeastern Conference by averaging 17.8 yards a catch and finished with 907 yards receiving in 2015. The third member of this heralded receiving corps and the biggest target is 6-foot-5, 240-pound Ricky Seals-Jones.Some things to know about UCLA and Texas A&Ms first meeting since 1998:NOELS NEW TEAMThe Bruins will see a familiar face on the opposite sideline in offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone. The 59-year-old spent 2012-15 in the same role for UCLA before joining the Aggies this offseason. Mazzone said he hasnt changed a lot from his days with the Bruins, but noted that he also knows their defense very well. That leaves him wondering if either side will have the upper hand in this situation. At end of day, plays are plays and schemes are schemes, he said. Kids have to make plays. Dont worry about things that much. Going to be a good football game. On flip side Ive gone against their defense last four years. Advantage? Disadvantage? I dont know.ROAD SUCCESSThe Bruins have been great on the road recently, having won 14 of their last 17 games away from the Rose Bowl. Theyve also won nine of their last 11 Pac-12 road games. Coach Jim Mora loves how his team responds to the adversity of playing away from home and is eager to see how his guys deal with a crowd that will likely top 100,000.The odds are stacked here, Mora said. This is going to be tough, but this is when our true character is going to reveal itself. I think these guys really embrace that.NATIONS BEST PASS RUSHING TANDEMRosen threw for 3,668 yards with 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions as a freshman last season and many believe the Bruins will be in the thick of the Pac-12 race despite an up-and-down, 8-5 season last year. He and the offensive line will face one of the nations better pass-rushing tandems in Texas A&Ms Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall. Garrett led the Southeastern Conference with 12+ sacks and five forced fumbles last season. Hall added 14+ tackles for losses.Mora has gotten creative this week in practice to prepare for Garrett, having the scout team player tasked with mimicking the defensive end line up offside to get that extra jump.I dont think you can go into any game saying, `Hey, were going to run away from these guys, Mora said. First of all youd have nowhere to run. But you have to be cognizant of where they are and what their capabilities are and you have to have answers if they become as disruptive as theyre capable of becoming.MCDERMOTTS TASKWhile dealing with Garrett will certainly require a team effort, UCLA left tackle Conor McDermott will lead the way in trying to slow him down. Like Garrett, McDermott is projected to be a high draft pick next year, and this game will be his chance to show off in front of a national audience. McDermott started the last seven games of 2014 at left tackle before starting 12 games last season on a team that allowed just 14 sacks, which was the second-fewest in school history. He hasnt played a ton still, Mora said. Its not like hes gotten a whole lot of snaps under his belt because hes had some injury issues throughout his career. But hes just very mature, hes very calm. Hes an excellent leader.---Online: AP college football website: collegefootball.ap.org Miralem Pjanic Jersey .
